Sciosophia is a YouTube channel that discusses science, philosophy, higher education, and the issues affecting all of them in a raw, unfiltered, and informal fashion. Here in the ScioSophia Locals community, we get into more discussions on science, ask and answer questions, and talk about solutions to make science better.

Peer-reviewed papers can be inaccessible for most people. Scientific papers are often written with a lot of technical jargon, and unless they are open access (an increasing trend in scientific publishing) they are usually behind an expensive paywall. You shouldn’t have to pay a fortune to learn about science. Science benefits everyone and you have a right to know about it.

Sciosophia focuses on making science accessible, having discussions on articles, issues of science, philosophy, and higher education. Our Locals community is a perfect way to engage any who really wants to understand and participate in science. I want to make sure people grow to understand the ins and out of scientific work so they can get in there and ask questions about science and critically think about scientific work in society.
